ULTRASPORT was established 30 years ago and rapidly became Britain's leading supplier of orienteering kit, a position it has retained to this day.
ULTRASPORT services ONLY the sport of orienteering and associate activities such as fell-running, trail-running, mountain-biking etc. etc... In this capacity it stocks arguably the world's biggest range of orienteering goods.
ULTRASPORT is run by orienteers for orienteers - and has the experience to go with it... The founder, Ken Broad, has been a British champion in various age groups on many occasions and has represented both England and Great Britain at international level. Ian Kevan BEM took over the company in June 2006 from Simon Broad - Ian, as a qualified outdoor activities instructor/athletes coach represented the RAF at orienteering - as well as four other sports! is always on hand to offer advice for all aspects of training.
ULTRASPORT sells through its retails premises at Nova House, Audley Avenue Enterprise Park, Audley Avenue, Newport, Shropshire, TF10 7DW and through its mobile shops at all the major orienteering competitions around the UK including schools and services events - and many of the smaller ones.
ULTRASPORT has a reputations for friendly and efficient service while its mail order activities have often been described as "second to none", with goods invariably being despatched on the same day the order is received.
ULTRASPORT has no association with any manufacturer and this independence means its primary loyalty is to its customers, rather than to its suppliers.
